Last updated: March 1, 2021

Nol-Tec Systems, Inc. (“Nol-Tec,” “we,” or “us”) understands that you care about the privacy of your personal information and takes your concern very seriously.  This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) describes the personal information we collect, how we use it, and certain rights and options you may have regarding your information.  This Policy applies to information we may collect from you through our website (www.nol-tec.com), direct communications and inquiries, or otherwise.

Please read this Policy carefully.  By using our website, you agree to the terms and conditions contained in this Policy.  If you do not agree to these terms and conditions, you may choose not to use our website.  As information privacy is an ongoing responsibility, we may change this Policy from time to time to reflect new practices.  Please review this Policy whenever you visit our website.

Personal Information We May Collect About You

Personal information is any information that relates, and can be used, to identify a person. Nol-Tec may collect and use personal information from its customers, website users, job applicants, and others.  As we are a B2B company, and do not solicit or make sales to consumers, the type of personal information Nol-Tec collects typically is limited to the information that can be found on a business card—name, address, email address, employer, position, and telephone number.

The types of personal information we collect and process typically include the following categories:

  • Identity and contact information — first name, last name, email address, telephone number, billing address, and delivery address.
  • Employment information — employer name and job title.
  • Transactional data — details about orders you have placed or inquiries you have made on behalf of your employer, details about payments received from you, and information about the products or services you have ordered from us.
  • Marketing and communications information — requests for information received from you or your employer, and information on your marketing or communication preferences.
  • Job applicant information — details regarding job applicants’ former employment and qualifications, including resumes, prior experience, job positions and titles, and applicant identity and contact information.
  • Usage information — details regarding when and how you use our website, products, or services.

We collect the personal information identified above when you purchase products or services, request information, communicate with us, apply for a job, provide information requested on our website, or otherwise directly provide the information to us (such as by submitting a query on our website).

We also collect financial information relating to the companies for whom purchases are made, including bank account numbers, wire information, and payment card details, as applicable.

How We Use Your Personal Information

We use these types of information to perform our contracts or agreements with your company or employer, to comply with our legal obligations, as necessary for our legitimate business interests, or pursuant to your consent.  Specifically, we use this information to:

  • Present the website and its content to you;

  • Research, develop, and improve our products and services;
  • Protect our rights or property, to protect someone’s health, safety, or welfare, and to comply with a law or regulation, court order, or other legal process; and
  • Perform other functions as otherwise described to you at the time of collection.
    • We may also collect, use, and share “aggregated data”—such as statistical or demographic data—for any purpose.  Aggregated data is not considered personal information, as it does not directly or indirectly reveal your identity.
