Nol-Tec to Host “Happy Hour” at Upcoming Power-Gen Trade Show

To give attendees a chance to learn more about their products, services, and company in general, Nol-Tec Systems will be hosting a “happy hour” event at their exhibitors booth (#1317) at the upcoming 2016 Power-Gen International trade show. Power-Gen 2016 is scheduled for December 13-15 in Orlando, Florida.

On Wednesday, December 14, from 2:00pm to 6:00pm, the Nol-Tec team will be serving beer and fresh popcorn for all interested parties. More than just a meet-and-greet, the happy hour will also include a trio of presentations, with time for discussion and Q&A sessions, to help potential customers learn more about Nol-Tec.

The first presentation, planned for 2:00-2:30pm, is more general, and will cover who Nol-Tec is and what they can do for their customers. It will include a brief introduction to Nol-Tec Systems and the products and services they offer, with a focus on their work with power generating utilities and industries. Nol-Tec Sales Manager Jerry VanDerWerff will be on hand to discuss and answer questions.

Nol-Tec’s second happy hour presentation, scheduled for 3:00-3:30pm, will show potential customers how they can optimize their DSI/ACI systems with Nol-Tec’s Sorb-Tec™ technology. It will provide an overview of the company’s latest offerings for dry sorbent injection and advanced carbon injection systems, and show how Sorb-Tec minimizes maintenance costs and improves sorbent performance. Product Sales Manager Nick Evans will be present for discussion and Q&A.

The final happy hour presentation, from 4:00-4:30pm, will give an in-depth look at Nol-Tec’s Lodge Cottrell division. It will include an overview of how Lodge Cottrell’s well-known expertise in particulate control complements Nol-Tec System’s advanced technologies to offer utilities a total solution to control air pollution. Lodge Cottrell’s Product Line Manager Wayne Navickas will be presenting and answering questions.

The remainder of Nol-Tec’s happy hour event will be open for further discussion and questions.

Adding to Nol-Tec’s Leadership in Air Pollution Control with Lodge Cottrell Division

In September 2015, Nol-Tec Systems acquired KC Cottrell US and transitioned the company into our new Lodge Cottrell division. With their focus on all aspects of air pollution control (APC)—inspection, parts, service, consulting, etc.—the Lodge Cottrell division makes Nol-Tec a total solutions provider for the APC market.

The addition of the Lodge Cottrell division gives us a whole host of additional capabilities and specialties. Lodge Cottrell offers an array of consulting services specific to ESPs (electrostatic precipitators), including evaluations via both high level data analysis and onsite inspections, performance predictions, and performance enhancements. They also provide ash resistivity testing and fabric filter evaluations.

Lodge Cottrell provides replacement parts and repair/maintenance services for APC equipment. Their ESP and fabric filter inspection capabilities include complete internal inspections—tolerance checks, ash buildup assessments, component wear examinations, etc.—and control inspections to check for proper operation and calibration.

ESP engineering and upgrades are also available through our Lodge Cottrell division. Their experts can provide replacement of internals in-kind or with rigid electrodes, expansion of the collecting plate area, additional inlet fields or parallel chambers, and more. They also provide complete onsite installation of new ESPs and fabric filter equipment.

Thanks to our Lodge Cottrell division, Nol-Tec can provide complete, start-to-finish air pollution control services. From consulting and evaluations to APC system design and engineering to installation, commissioning, and training, we have the know-how and the technology to deliver the perfect APC solution for any application—even yours!
